Ancient Researchers from Long Ago

 

  In Ancient Mesopotamia they had studied a lot like astronomers do now. Astronomers did alot that impact our lives. They created calendars, and constellations.  

  Astronomers study the moon, sun, stars, and the planets. Early astronomers found patterns in the sky and organized  them by their motion. They make productions from the motion of the stars. From the constellations they invented the calendar. The seasons were predicted by the constellations. They also found information about stars and sun that affect our daily life.

  The weather and temperature determined the seasons. The astronomers found out when to plant and harvest from the seasons. The motion of the earth and sky changes the appearances of the stars. The astronomers also noticed major patterns in sky objects.

  The phases of the moon helped with the calendar and when to plant/harvest. The constellations helped find the zodiac. The zodiac sign developed beliefs about birth and characteristics.

  From the constellations astronomers got the zodiac and days of the week. From the calendar astronomers have found when to plant and harvest crops. Ancient Mesopotamians were an observant civilization developing ways to track time connecting the universe to daily life.
